ABOUT THE CLASS
The Discipleship Training Class (DTC) happens three times a year, aligned with our Trimesters. A new DTC class starts every first month of the trimester and ends around the beginning of the Rest Months.

Our goal is to always have a class available, enabling you to disciple your friends in a small group. In DTC, we delve into deep biblical knowledge, equip individuals for ministry, provide practical guidance on leading a small group, and offer one-on-one support.

DTC is a crucial part of the onboarding process to become a GFC small group leader.
While it holds great value, your role as a close friend and mentor to your small group is pivotal in disciple making.
RECOMMENDATION
When recommending people for DTC, please keep in mind the following:​

Are they Faithful? - Faithful to attend Small Group? Faithful to attend service on Sunday's?
Faithful to serve within small group and/or serve the church as a volunteer?
Are they Available? - Do they have the availability to give generously of their time discipling others while still having adequate time to invest in his/her personal walk with Jesus; Spend time with family, children, spouse, etc.; Take a sabbath & rest well.
Are they Teachable? - How do they respond to correction? Teachable leaders produce teachable disciples. To be a disciple is to be a learner.
